About the role

The Director, Station Operations oversees one of Menzies Aviation's largest Operations at the DFW Station. Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring compliance with all Regulatory, Airport, Customer and Internal standards.
Delivering high-quality services to multiple domestic and International Airlines.
Leading and working with the senior team to maintain and enhance appropriate, effective safety & security systems.
Maintaining strict Menzies safety standards and Corporate Governance.
Meeting financial targets and delivering high-quality services to meet operational needs.
Maximizing the station's performance by strategically aligning resources.
Implementing company policies and procedures, promoting sound safety, security, and people management practices.
Promoting and driving a 'safety first' culture through all levels of the organization.
Ensuring the station remains fully compliant with internal standards and all relevant industry, regulatory, and state legislated requirements.
Directing and motivating managers to achieve agreed targets and identifying areas for continued development.

Responsibilities

Full responsibility for all aspects of the station Ramp operations, including:

Passenger & Ramp Handling
GSE Maintenance
Aircraft Cleaning

Accountability for ensuring customer operational needs are met, exceeding station goals and revenue targets.

Regular interaction with customers to promote the station and measure customer satisfaction, using feedback to continuously develop and improve capabilities and processes.

Strategically aligning resources to maximize station performance.

Implementation of company policies and procedures, promoting sound safety, security, and people management practices.

Leading and motivating hardworking teams to deliver excellent quality and productivity.

Ensuring safety and security are the responsibility of each employee, adhering to workplace health and safety rules and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required or postgraduate Degree preferred.

Proven leadership and people management skills.

Wide-ranging general management experience, with some years of senior management experience.

Extensive management and/or support service experience, preferably in a ground handling, aviation or logistics environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, balanced with a high level of confidence to influence and present at all levels.

Independence, decisiveness, and the ability to work accurately and independently of immediate support.

Able to influence, engage, and motivate at all levels.

Flexible, determined to succeed, and self-motivated.

Fluent in English.
