Responsibilities
- Own the multi-state licensure and compliance program, overseeing strategy and operational readiness
- Provide guidance on compliance readiness and risks for new state entries or services
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of state regulatory requirements and application statuses
- Oversee the management of all necessary applications, renewals, and regulatory filings
- Direct the creation and upkeep of operational policies and procedures for compliance
- Develop and supervise the licensure team while managing external compliance relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field
- Seven or more years in healthcare compliance, regulatory operations, or licensure, with a focus on multi-state compliance programs
- Experience interpreting state regulations and operationalizing compliance requirements
- Proven track record of developing policies, procedures, and compliance tracking systems
- Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving accountability without direct authority
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior leadership
- Sound judgment in risk identification and problem-solving
