Director, State Licensure and Home Care Compliance - Remote

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-state licensure and compliance program, overseeing strategy and operational readiness
• Provide guidance on compliance readiness and risks for new state entries or services
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of state regulatory requirements and application statuses
• Oversee the management of all necessary applications, renewals, and regulatory filings
• Direct the creation and upkeep of operational policies and procedures for compliance
• Develop and supervise the licensure team while managing external compliance relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field
• Seven or more years in healthcare compliance, regulatory operations, or licensure, with a focus on multi-state compliance programs
• Experience interpreting state regulations and operationalizing compliance requirements
• Proven track record of developing policies, procedures, and compliance tracking systems
• Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving accountability without direct authority
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior leadership
• Sound judgment in risk identification and problem-solving
