About the role
As Director, State Licensure and Home Care Compliance, you will be responsible for ensuring that all state licensure and compliance requirements are met for home care services. This includes overseeing the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to state regulations, conducting regular audits, and providing guidance to staff on compliance issues.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to state regulations for home care services.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with state licensure and compliance requirements.
- Provide guidance to staff on compliance issues and training as needed.
- Stay current with changes in state regulations and industry standards.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment with overall organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- At least 5 years of experience in legal compliance, preferably in a healthcare or home care setting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Experience working with state regulatory agencies.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing home care services.
- Experience with regulatory reporting and documentation.
- Experience with risk management and quality assurance processes.
