Director, Sourcing

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for capital projects, including equipment, engineering, construction and installation services.
• Develop and execute comprehensive competitive bidding processes, including development of bidding packages, negotiations, and supplier selection criteria for large-scale CapEx initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and contractors.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings through strategic sourcing, value engineering, and total cost of ownership analysis. Collaborate with Finance to forecast and manage CapEx budgets effectively.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and strategies, legal requirements, and environmental regulations. Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks for critical capital projects.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Project Management teams to align sourcing strategies with project timelines and technical specifications. Support project execution by ensuring timely delivery of equipment and services.
• Lead contract negotiations for major capital purchases and engineering/construction agreements. Manage long-term agreements and framework contracts for recurring CapEx needs.
• Contract Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with all contractual terms and conditions for capital expenditure projects. Establish governance processes to monitor supplier performance against agreed deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Minimum Education Level: Master’s degree.
• Specialized Degree: Supply Chain/Business Administration.
• Licenses/Certificates: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent.
• Years of Experience: 12-14 Years.
