Director, Solutions Specialist - Structured Finance
About The Team
Our Structured Finance Data and Analytics team helps investors and issuers navigate complex structured credit markets by delivering high-quality data, analytics, and technology solutions across a broad range of asset classes. By joining our team, you will work in a collaborative, high-impact environment that partners closely with Product, Research, Sales, and Technology teams to deliver commercially viable, technically executable outcomes while supporting innovation and the adoption of data-driven solutions across the structured finance ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the liaison between technical teams and sales organizations to support commercialization and adoption of structured finance data and analytics solutions.
- Facilitate product demonstrations and discovery sessions for prospective and existing clients across the structured finance investor base, including asset managers, insurers, banks, and structured credit professionals.
- Lead the development of request for information and request for proposal responses in partnership with sales and product teams.
- Manage customer onboarding for application programming interface and web-based products, helping clients realize value quickly and effectively.
- Conduct regular client touchpoints, identify expansion opportunities, and partner with Account Managers on commercial strategy and growth initiatives.
- Act as the bridge between technical staff and frontline sales teams, translating client requirements into executable solutions.
- Support clients in accessing, connecting, and interpreting structured finance performance data and structuring tools across multiple asset classes.
- Develop user guides, training materials, and enablement resources tailored to structured finance investor workflows.
- Gather and communicate client and market feedback to Product and Research teams to support product enhancements, innovation, and roadmap development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field is required; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Skills And Competencies
- 5+ years of experience in structured finance, securitization analytics, or a related client-facing role at a service provider, ratings agency, or financial institution.
- Working knowledge across structured finance asset classes including Collateralized Loan Obligations, Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities, Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities, and Asset-Backed Securities, with an understanding of tranche mechanics, credit enhancement, and cashflow waterfalls.
- Demonstrated experience supporting product demonstrations, request for proposal and request for information responses, and customer onboarding for application programming interface and web-based data products.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain structured credit concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of Moody's Structured Finance Portal, Structured Finance Workstation, and CDONet solutions preferred.
- Experience at a data or analytics vendor serving structured finance clients, such as Bloomberg, Trepp, or similar organizations preferred.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
Pay
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $135,700.00 - $196,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
