Solutions Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Contribute to the shaping and support of the technical vision for Software Engineering across the practice.
- Establish and evolve reference architectures, engineering standards, and evaluation frameworks for modern application development on Azure.
- Provide high-level architectural oversight on key engagements.
- Identify gaps in engineering and architecture capability and lead the creation of training, reusable assets, and accelerators to close them.
- Champion the thoughtful adoption of modern engineering approaches, tools, and patterns.
Delivery & Consulting Excellence
- Provide oversight for key client engagements.
- Support delivery teams through escalation guidance, architectural coaching, and strategic clarity.
- Partner with Engagement Managers, Architects, and client stakeholders.
- Mature clients’ engineering and delivery practices.
- Ensure consistency and quality across teams.
- Manage utilization, margin, and staffing mix.
- Promote operational readiness and supportability.
Mentorship & Team Development
- Develop and grow managers, Principal Architects, and senior engineers.
- Build connected, inclusive, high-performing teams.
- Oversee staffing and resource alignment.
- Define interview standards and mentorship strategies.
Growth & Innovation
- Drive development of practice-wide training, reusable assets, tools, templates, and accelerators.
- Collaborate with Directors, Principal Architects, and Practice Leaders.
- Enable the GTM team.
- Lead or influence multi-team programs.
- Identify capability gaps, talent needs, and strategic opportunities.
- Influence multi-million-dollar annual sales and delivery outcomes.
Requirements:
- 14+ years of experience in application development and/or software engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in application architecture and leading development teams.
- Expertise with a major cloud platform (Azure strongly preferred).
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Demonstrated success leading large, complex client engagements or programs.
- Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
- Experience shaping and implementing practice-wide standards, assets, or offerings.
- Strong business acumen with experience partnering on utilization, margin, staffing, and sales pursuits.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Experience leading or influencing multi-team programs.
