Responsibilities

  • Manage research and consulting engagements from start to finish across a variety of clients and methodologies, including global landscape, strategy, product development, concept, brand, positioning, and post-release studies
  • Write and review quantitative questionnaires, oversee programming and data setup via partners and DIY tools, and synthesize results into both written and visual reports with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Write and review qualitative discussion guides, oversee fieldwork recruitment, provide backroom support for clients and moderators, collaborate on video production, and distill findings into both written and visual reports with actionable insights and recommendations; experience moderating is a plus
  • Build and grow client and vendor relationships
  • Respond to RFPs and lead proposals
  • Present or co-present research results to clients, conferences, and webinar audiences
  • Contribute to the company’s marketing strategy, including ideating and writing blog posts, capabilities decks, and thought leadership research
  • Stay up-to-date on pop culture, entertainment, and tech trends and share ideas for new research topics with the broader team

Qualifications

  • Must have 7-15 years of experience at a dedicated market research agency in a client-facing role, preferably with an entertainment and technology focus
  • BA/BS with a strong academic record
  • Extensive expertise in diverse research methodologies across qualitative and quantitative modalities, including MaxDiff, correspondence analysis, factor analysis, segmentation, and conjoint analysis
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, with a passion and curiosity for learning about the world around them
  • Experienced in managing client relationships, projects, writing proposals, and managing project budgets
  • Mentored, managed, and uplifted junior staff, working to develop their skills and provide feedback on their work
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong attention to detail, project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills
  • Some comfort with or willingness to learn Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Q/Displayr data processing and data analytics tools
