About the role

We are seeking a Director / Senior Director of Clinical Solutions (Business Development) to drive commercial expansion across Europe, focusing on mid‑market, emerging, and growth‑stage pharmaceutical companies. In this high‑impact sales role you will own a defined territory, generate your own pipeline, build senior‑level relationships, and position Biorce as a category leader in AI for clinical development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pipeline generation through negotiation and deal closure—with mid‑market, emerging biotech, and pharmaceutical organizations across Europe.
  • Hit quarterly and annual targets and consistently deliver against ambitious commercial goals.
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies tailored to mid‑market and emerging pharma, in collaboration with the Chief Commercial Officer and Global Head of Commercial Operations.
  • Identify high‑potential accounts, key decision makers, and business opportunities across Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, R&D, Digital, and Technology functions.
  • Build and cultivate strong, trust‑based relationships with senior and C‑level stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining strong pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and commercial urgency.
  • Understand each customer's clinical development priorities, operational challenges, and growth trajectory to position Biorce against the highest‑value use cases.
  • Articulate ROI, business value, and the impact of Biorce's technology on clinical development to drive efficient commercial cycles.
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts across additional programs, therapeutic areas, and teams as customer adoption expands.
  • Represent Biorce at industry events, conferences, client meetings, and strategic commercial engagements across Europe.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Clinical Solutions, Product, and Customer teams to tailor pitches, demonstrations, and commercial strategies.
  • Provide market intelligence and direct customer feedback to inform product development, positioning, and strategic decisions.
  • Help define and refine commercial processes, territory strategies, and infrastructure as we scale operations across Europe.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively across teams, taking full ownership of objectives, pipeline, territory, and customer relationships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, strategic accounts, or partnerships within clinical technology, life sciences technology, pharmaceutical services, or a closely related sector.
  • Deep understanding of clinical development and clinical trial processes, with an established network across the European biotech and pharmaceutical ecosystem.
  • Proven experience selling into emerging, growth‑stage, or mid‑sized pharmaceutical and biotech organizations.
  • Track record of consistently generating pipeline, closing new business, and delivering against commercial targets.
  • Experience managing multiple active opportunities and navigating sales cycles involving senior stakeholders across clinical, operational, and technical functions.
  • Strong prospecting and business development skills, with the ability to independently open new accounts and build a territory.
  • Commercial judgment to prioritize accounts based on potential value, urgency, and strategic fit.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset suited to a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technology and AI‑driven solutions in simple, value‑driven terms tied directly to customer outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across Europe and internationally for client engagements, industry events, and company offsites.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with AI‑driven platforms in a clinical or drug development context.
  • Experience selling clinical technology into emerging biotech, mid‑cap pharma, or high‑growth life sciences organizations.
  • Experience expanding initial commercial wins into broader, multi‑program customer relationships.
  • Experience operating across multiple European markets and navigating different commercial environments, buying processes, and stakeholder groups.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary, plus performance‑based variable compensation.
  • Uncapped commission structure tied to individual commercial performance and quota attainment.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to build and own a high‑growth territory across innovative pharmaceutical and biotech companies in Europe.
  • Chance to shape the commercial strategy of a fast‑growing AI health‑tech company.
  • Potential to grow into a broader strategic or commercial leadership role as Biorce expands.
  • Dynamic, international work environment that values collaboration and diversity.
  • Comprehensive private health coverage.
  • Hybrid work model offering flexibility to balance professional and personal life.
  • Company events to celebrate achievements and foster community.
  • MacBook provided to enhance productivity.
  • Pet‑friendly office.
