Director, Sales & Service (Global Technology & Entertainment Verticals)
Role Overview
In this role, you will support the VP, Sales & Service over our Global Technology and Entertainment verticals. Responsibilities will include converting prospects into new Wheels Up members and deepening relationships with existing clients. You will also lead account management tasks, delivering a personalized sales and service experience by owning a subset of accounts—coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of client relationships, acting as the day-to-day point of contact for a defined book of business
- Partner with the VP and pod support team to identify, qualify, and convert prospective members through outreach, lead follow-up, and quoting support
- Identify opportunities to upsell existing customers and collaborate with VP to execute
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Support and Flight Services Management teams to deliver premium member experience
- Assist in presentation of flight quotes—both on-fleet and off-fleet
- Communicate pricing, aircraft details, and travel itineraries to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up
- Maintain accurate records and updates in the CRM to support your VP and ensure seamless team-based service
- Support issue resolution related to irregular operations (IROPs) by liaising with internal teams and providing client updates
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a strategic sale, account management, or client-facing role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and coordinate across teams in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, client-first mindset with the ability to anticipate needs
- Comfortable working with quoting tools, CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), and proposal documentation
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements
Standard office and computer usage required. Occasional travel or client meetings may be expected.
What We Offer
- Salary Range & Benefits: At Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The yearly base compensation for this role ranges from $85,000 - $95,000, depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally, you will be eligible for an incentive program (commission), which rewards individual and organizational performance.
