Director Safety Quality Experience Strategy and Clinical Programs
Principle Responsibilities
Creates alignment among business unit teams in functional areas.
Creates alignment in program and team structure among business units.
Implements priorities and function(s) for the patient safety, quality & experience teams.
Determines and implements the strategic vision for the department and function(s).
Develops and is accountable for function(s) budget.
Oversees system managers and strategists for functional areas, and supports onboarding education for teams systemwide.
Implements and evaluates strategic plans for functional areas.
Collaborates with senior leaders and market teams to implement and evaluate respective strategic plan.
Advises on policies and procedures to support the system wide safety culture.
Leads implementation and development of software systems that support policies, error reporting, action planning and risk.
Leads and aligns safety & quality teams in functional areas.
Implements programmatic planning and project coordination to align with strategic vision and objectives of the organization.
Oversees the allocation of resources and staffing for system teams, action plans and issue resolution.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Health Care Administration, Engineering or other health care related field
- 5 to 7 years quality experience in a health care environment
- 5 to 7 years health care management experience in quality management and/or quality improvement
- 3 to 5 years successful record of effective safety & quality team leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in in Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Health Care Administration, Engineering or other health care related field
Physical Demands
Sedentary: Lifting weight up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently
Pay Range
Pay Range: $66.09 to $91.44 per hour
