UTA seeks an experienced Director of Revenue Reporting & Analysis to join its Finance team in the Beverly Hills office.

About the role

This role will serve as the owner for all analysis related to the revenue model across the agency’s diverse business and will work closely with heads of various business lines, FP&A leads, and the CFO to capture timely and accurate reporting. The individual will play a critical role in developing standardized reporting frameworks and templates, analyzing agency revenues, and drafting new KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Build the monthly reporting workflow, including data compilation, revenue allocations, and commission calculations across various business units, ensuring data integrity and compliance with commission policies, deal structures, and drivers for each business unit.
  • Focus on improving standardization, automation, and scalability to generate efficiency and trust in the commissions/bonuses and data-gathering process.
  • Develop frameworks and templates that optimize financial reporting into key insights and prepare and present annual, quarterly, and monthly reports to leadership and department heads, focusing on key revenue metrics against business objectives.
  • Report on industry trends to provide insight into performance versus budget goals.
  • Establish and maintain revenue dashboards to help the CFO, Finance Leads, and Department Heads understand and drive business opportunities, leading to more efficient revenue growth strategies while understanding how industry trends can affect performance metrics.
  • Perform deep-dive analytics to diagnose areas of opportunity and develop data-based strategies to drive improvement across the revenue cycle for the entire agency.
  • Act as a thought leader for UTA on revenue-optimizing strategies across new service lines, acquisitions, and new market entry.
  • Work with the technology team to implement competitive systems and processes to mature the BI platform.

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in revenue cycle management with a focus on reporting, from invoicing through collections, payment to clients, and allocation.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and synthesize large data sets into actionable business insights, trends, and KPIs that drive more efficient methods of revenue attribution.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI/reporting tools (OneStream, PowerBI, Sigma) required; experience with SQL preferred.
  • Demonstrated advanced skills in revenue analysis.
  • Ability to write complex queries to clean, organize, and process large datasets from accounting and transaction records.
  • Mastery of SQL and Python to clean, merge, and transform messy data from CRM platforms (like Salesforce) and ERP accounting systems.
  • Build predictive models using historical booking data to forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual company performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with key stakeholders.
  • Process improvement and achieving operational excellence.
  • Comfort with technology development and data structures (a plus).
  • MBA preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $180,000 to $230,000.
