Job Summary

The Director, Revenue Cycle Operations is responsible for the reimbursement operation function for the subsidiary to include; accounts receivable management, billing, collections and critical data reporting. Facilitates communication among all practice departments regarding information needs and time requirements to optimize reimbursement performance.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily managing of Reimbursement Operations functions and Team Member Human Resource related issues.
  • Responsible for achieving AR goals discussed semi-annually.
  • Must maintain or exceed cash goals monthly as well as cash goals on an annual basis.
  • Prepares operating budgets and effectively analyzes performance against those budgets.
  • Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly analysis on accounts receivable and determine any fluctuations that can effect collect rates.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining billing compliance policies and procedures according to company and governmental guidelines.
  • Assists in the development and presentation of timely educational programs on reimbursement, and charge capture topics/issues.
  • Reviews MDIV related accounts receivable reports to identify trends, issues and/or problems with charge capture, coding and/or billing activities of the subsidiary.
  • Provides expert guidance on all reimbursement-related issues.
  • Recognizes and reports any payment or payer trends to the National Director of Reimbursement Operations and/or Management towards problem resolution, and seeks assistance as necessary to assure the protection of the A/R.
  • Effectively utilizes team members ensuring appropriate levels of productivity.
  • Develops and implements action plans relating to accounts receivable to present to Management.
  • Develops communication activities that support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Radiologix.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of government/managed care arena including systems audits, analysis, payor strategies.
  • Knowledge of developing budgets.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Solid understanding of billing and reimbursement processes.
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve department and organizational objectives.
  • Ability to share information effectively and provide appropriate direction to staff.

Pay

$95,000 - $110,000 per year
