We’re looking for a proven sales leader to join us as Director, Regional Sales – Industrial Distribution. In this role, you’ll lead a team of high-performing sales professionals, drive growth across your territory, and build lasting relationships with our distribution partners and customers. Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a regional sales team, providing coaching, training, and clear performance expectations
- Develop and execute sales strategies that deliver consistent revenue growth
- Set quarterly and annual targets, forecast performance, and ensure your team hits their numbers
- Join your team on key customer calls, helping advance opportunities and close deals
- Build strong customer and distributor relationships that drive satisfaction and loyalty
- Track market trends, analyze competitors, and identify new opportunities for expansion
- Partner across departments to align strategy and deliver seamless customer experiences
- Manage budgets, oversee deal execution, and ensure CRM tools are used effectively
- Travel within your region to stay close to your team and customers (frequent travel required)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years in sales leadership
- 10+ years of direct selling experience
- Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and achieving ambitious goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a business-related field
- Experience working with distribution channels and end-user customers
- Proven success in expanding client bases and building long-term partnerships
Technical Expertise
- Deep understanding of sales strategy, performance management, and team motivation
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong business acumen with hands-on execution ability
- Proficiency with CRM systems and enterprise tools (SAP, FieldServio a plus)
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
