About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI Literacy Operations Lead to oversee the operational backbone of Johnson & Johnson's global AI Literacy program. This role is responsible for program governance, operational planning, delivery management, stakeholder coordination, vendor oversight, budget management, and performance measurement across a large-scale enterprise ecosystem.

This position is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of AI Literacy initiatives supporting approximately 15,000 employees across R&D. This individual will establish scalable operating models, drive execution excellence, manage risks and dependencies, and implement effective support frameworks that enable sustainable growth and adoption.

The Operations Lead will require strong operational leadership, exceptional stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives in a global environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational planning and execution of the enterprise AI Literacy strategy across multiple geographies and business functions.
  • Develop and maintain scalable operating models, governance structures, processes, and delivery frameworks supporting AI Literacy initiatives.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of virtual and in-person AI Literacy learning programs for approximately 15000 employees globally.
  • Cook up schedules, timelines, resources, dependencies, and implementation activities across multiple workstreams.
  • Manage external vendors, agencies, and contractors responsible for training delivery and operational support.
  • Monitor vendor performance, contractual obligations, service levels, and delivery outcomes.
  • Manage program budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and operational expenditures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, scalability, and cost effectiveness.
  • Implement processes and controls that support sustainable growth of the AI Literacy program.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts through data-driven decision making and performance analysis.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, procurement consulting, transformation, or related leadership roles within healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industries.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale global programs involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, and geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong operational leadership capabilities, including governance, planning, budgeting, resource management, and process optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives across matrixed organizations.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Experience working with external partners, consulting firms, agencies, and service providers.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with AI, digital transformation, and capability-building programs is preferred.
  • Proficiency in project and program management methodologies and operational excellence practices.
