DRIVES the strategy and roadmap for GEICO’s innovation.

LEADS the Research and Innovation team to identify and develop innovative projects for the company while staying up to date on cutting-edge data analytics and technology.

LEADS

WORKS with different functional teams, IDENTIFIES and ENCOURAGES innovation opportunities, and TRANSLATES business needs to R&I projects.

DESIGNS resource allocation processes to take potentially innovations forward from the seed stage to development.

DESIGNS resource allocation processes, LEADS the end-to-end innovation cycle, and DELIVERS the solution.

TRACKS the progress and MONITORS the outcomes of key projects.

ADJUSTS as necessary.

DEVELOPS, OWNS and ALLOCATES a yearly budget to fund ideas and innovations.

ENCOURAGES a culture of research excellence, experimentation, and innovation in the department.

PREPARES department business plans, staffing projections and budget.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS required in Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, or related field.
• Master’s/PhD preferred.
• 7+ years of data analytics and data science related experience.
• 3+ years of experience at leadership roles.

BENEFITS

Annual Salary $150,000.00 - $300,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
