About the role

The Director Quality Science & Technology will lead the quality science and technology initiatives at Agilent, focusing on ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving innovation in quality methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality science and technology strategies to support product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Lead the quality assurance team in ensuring adherence to GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks related to quality and technology.
  • Oversee the validation and qualification of new technologies and processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to ensure consistent quality across all operations.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a focus on quality control and technology development.
  • Proven track record in leading quality science and technology initiatives.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and quality systems (e.g., FDA, EMA).
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations and their application in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Experience with process analytical technology (PAT) and its implementation in quality control.
  • Understanding of advanced manufacturing techniques and their impact on quality.
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to non-scientific stakeholders.
