Position Title: Remote Director of Public Sector Mobility & Transit Partnerships Salary Range: $115,000–$155,000 base salary / Year, DOE + monthly commission with significant earning potential Turn your public-sector transportation expertise into mobility programs that change how communities move. This is a senior revenue-driving role focused on building partnerships with cities, counties, and transit agencies throughout California. You’ll develop and close complex transportation contracts, build a strong government pipeline, navigate procurement and funding challenges and help public-sector partners bring sustainable mobility programs to life The ideal candidate brings a rare combination of public-sector transportation expertise and proven sales ability — someone who understands how local government makes decisions, knows how to uncover funding opportunities and has the confidence to own a long, complex sales cycle from first conversation through signed contract Responsibilities Drive new revenue by positioning, selling, and closing mobility solutions with cities, counties, transit agencies, and other local government organizationsBuild and manage a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, conferences and strategic relationship developmentOwn complex sales cycles ranging from approximately four months to 18 months with annual contract values typically ranging from $100K to $2MDevelop relationships with public-sector decision-makers, uncover operational challenges and present mobility solutions that address community transportation needsHelp prospective clients identify grants, funding programs and other financial resources that can support transportation initiativesNavigate government evaluation, procurement, contracting and implementation processes while keeping opportunities moving toward closeRepresent the organization at industry meetings, conferences and company events with periodic travel throughout California and occasional national travel Requirements 8+ years of experience within city or county government, transit agencies, transportation planning, public works, parking, mobility, economic development, regional planning or related public-sector transportation environments100% remote work environment with preference for candidates based in Southern California or elsewhere in CaliforniaProven sales experience with a demonstrated ability to sell solutions directly into local governmentDeep understanding of how cities, counties and public agencies evaluate, fund, procure and implement transportation programsStrong consultative sales skills with the ability to ask thoughtful questions, uncover client pain points and translate challenges into compelling solutionsBachelor’s degree requiredAbility to independently manage a territory, pipeline and complex sales process while consistently owning results and exceeding revenue expectationsExceptional presentation, relationship-building and communication skills with the credibility to engage public-sector leaders and decision-makers Benefits Highly competitive $120K–$150K base salary plus monthly commission with substantial upside100% employer-paid employee medical coverage with HMO, PPO, and HSA-eligible plan options after 60 days100% employer-paid employee dental and vision coverage after 60 days401(k) eligibility after 12 months with company matchingFlexible unlimited PTO, paid sick leave, and 11 paid holidaysEquity options with long-term upside plus annual performance reviews and salary increases If you know how public-sector transportation works, know how to sell into government, and want to own meaningful deals that directly impact communities, apply today and bring your expertise to a company redefining local mobility.
