About The Role
We're seeking a Director, Public Relations to build a PR strategy for a brand in motion. This role requires challenging conventional PR thinking and pioneering new narrative territories. You'll define and own the strategy, lead integrated campaigns, build a high-performing team, and foster a culture of accountability and resilience.
What You’ll Do
- Define and own a PR strategy for a brand in motion, adapting to narrative shifts and media landscapes.
- Lead integrated comms campaigns from story development to coverage analysis.
- Build, hire, and develop a high-performing team and agency ecosystem.
- Design and continuously improve workflows, messaging frameworks, and rapid-response systems.
- Operate as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders, driving narrative and business outcomes.
- Foster a culture of accountability, creative risk-taking, and resilience.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or earned media, with 3+ years of people leadership.
- A track record of building PR strategy and creating new narrative territories.
- The instinct and courage to operate without a pre-existing playbook and the discipline to build one.
- Fluency in modern media landscapes, including algorithmic discovery and AI-generated summaries.
- Strong editorial judgment and the ability to identify and protect genuinely differentiated stories.
- A leadership style that raises ambition and changes how a company thinks, not just what it does.
Expected Salary Range
Based on location, the expected salary range for the role is $193,800 - $250,800.
