About the role

The Director, Public Relations is responsible for advancing and protecting STACK's brand, reputation, and industry leadership through strategic media relations, reputation management, executive visibility, and crisis communications programs.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for STACK's brand and reputation through strategic media relations
  • Manage reputation and mitigate risks through crisis communications
  • Develop and execute executive visibility strategies
  • Monitor and respond to media inquiries and public opinion
  • Manage media relations and reputation management programs
  • Ensure alignment with STACK's strategic objectives and messaging
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging

Requirements

  • Proven track record in public relations or related field
  • Experience managing crisis communications and reputation management
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Experience in developing and executing executive visibility strategies
  • Understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms
  • Experience in media relations and media outreach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Experience in crisis management and reputation management
  • Strong understanding of public relations principles and practices
  • Experience in digital marketing and social media management
