About the role

It designs, manufactures, distributes, and retails fashion and lifestyle products including apparel, accessories, eyewear, watches, jewelry, home interiors, fragrances, and cosmetics under brands such as Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, A|X Armani Exchange, Armani / Casa, and Armani Ristorante.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct all US press, digital content/relationships, and public relations activities for all Giorgio Armani Corporation brands and businesses, including Giorgio Armani, Armani Privé, Emporio Armani, A|X Armani Exchange, Armani / Casa, Armani / Ristorante, and Armani Residences.
  • Increase brand awareness, promote collection launches, and support business goals through securing stories, editorial content, and media placements across print, digital, content creators, industry key opinion leaders, and influencers/stylists.
  • Develop and implement PR strategies to raise awareness, appeal to younger and new audiences, and create relevance for the Giorgio Armani brands and product offerings.
  • Monitor and build on the strategic vision of public relations in alignment with local business strategies and GA SPA public relations directives.
  • Implement effective public relations plans for all brands, new collection launches, special projects/events, and VIP coverage placements in both print and digital.
  • Develop and nurture strategic relationships with press contacts (digital & print) and industry opinion leaders for each brand.
  • Ensure impactful product placements, covers, and feature stories within all publications and digital platforms for all brands.
  • Monitor editorial standing and coverage, implementing strategies to enhance visibility and impact in both print and digital.
  • Define, develop, and present PR seasonal initiatives for all brands.
  • Implement tactical plans to secure brand positioning and serve overall business objectives.
  • Coordinate and secure press for special events, store openings, cultural collaborations, campaign launches, and key brand moments.
  • Lead guest list and photographer management for brand events, including runway shows, regional activations, in-store events, and more.
  • Collaborate with Milan HQ and other international press offices to increase efficiency and proper distribution of samples to prioritized publications and KOL dressing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Milan HQ to develop English language and regional press releases.
  • Cultivate creator relationships and secure impactful dressing and gifting placements to enhance brand awareness and cultural relevance.
  • Coordinate with VIP teams to secure celebrity coverage, including getting-ready stories.
  • Strategize with the business and communication teams to support the 360 seasonal strategy, product alignment, and storytelling for a unified brand message.
  • Keep the Global Head of Communications and SVP of Communications informed of all industry news.
  • Support GA Beauty with guidance and input from the fashion side for dressing opportunities and projects; liaise with licensee teams to align strategies.

Requirements

  • College degree required.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in the field.
  • Computer proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).

Pay

The selected candidate will receive a salary of USD $120,000 to $140,000, plus bonus eligibility. Final compensation will be based on relevant skills, experience, education, and certifications.
