Job Summary
The Director, Property Account Engineer will oversee a dedicated UW team (5 - 10 underwriters) focusing on the Property line of business (HPR - Highly Protected Risk). Key responsibilities include reviewing incoming submissions, assessing in-force accounts, recommending engineering support, coordinating services, and ensuring account performance.
Responsibilities
- Working with underwriters to review incoming submissions and advise on engineering support requirements
- Reviewing in-force accounts to assess open engineering aspects, account performance, and additional support needs
- Determining which accounts require engineering services and coordinating service delivery
Requirements
- Extensive experience with conducting HPR Property surveys
- Extensive experience with servicing HPR Property accounts
- Strong competency with analyzing loss data
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite tools and applications
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with underwriters, policyholders, and brokers
- Solid time management skills
- Strong industry expertise in Manufacturing, Real Estate, and Hospitality
Qualifications
- Engineering or related degree/experience

- Base salary range: $114,800 to $179,964/year (Chicago, IL) / $133,300 to $154,969/year (IN, MI, OH, WI)
