Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site and virtual surveys to assess property risks
  • Perform detailed assessments of operations and controls
  • Summarize findings in internal reports with loss improvement recommendations
  • Complete loss analysis and sprinkler plan reviews
  • Support underwriters and brokers with expert recommendations
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients
  • Train junior staff in virtual and field settings

Qualifications

  • Engineering or comparable degree/experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a safety-related role; property and casualty insurance experience preferred
  • Certification in NFPA and FM Data Sheets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and applications
  • Experience with Nat Cat evaluations, particularly flood risks
  • Ability to evaluate sprinkler system adequacy and calculate loss expectancies
  • Strong consultative skills for detailed reporting and client compliance support

Pay

$133,300 – $194,516 annually
