Director, Product Program Management

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Product Program Management to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This leader will shape and scale a new product program management function that supports technology-enabled healthcare operations. The role will guide a small team, establish clear standards and playbooks, and ensure leadership has the program visibility needed to make timely decisions. It also requires close partnership with Product Operations and senior stakeholders to strengthen execution across the portfolio. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $122,900 – $180,350 annually Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of 3 to 5 Product Program Managers Establish and enforce playbooks and standards in collaboration with Product Operations Aggregate program health and reporting for leadership review Act as a point of escalation for team challenges and present solutions Partner with Product Operations and senior leadership on operational models Qualifications 10+ years of experience in product program management or project management for software or technology products Direct experience managing a team, including hiring and evaluations Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of programs with related reporting Fluency with structured Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) processes Strong executive communication skills for presenting to senior leadership Ability to work in ambiguity and establish a new function Inquisitive mindset with openness to innovation and AI Must be available for onsite travel as needed Benefits Remote work flexibility with occasional travel requirements Opportunities to innovate and shape a new function within the organization Chance to work closely with high-level leadership and cross-functional teams Support for professional development through team-building and evaluation processes Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
