About the Role

The Director, Product Program Management provides strategic and operational leadership across Integra's product portfolio, including new product introduction (NPI/FOK), production programs, product changes, launches, and lifecycle management. This role leads cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, financial performance, operational readiness, and exceptional customer satisfaction while driving standardization, risk management, and continuous improvement. The Director mentors and develops a team of Program Managers and directly owns, sponsors, or coordinates strategic projects requiring cross-functional alignment, executive visibility, or enterprise-level problem-solving. These projects may include Value Stream transformation, customer recovery, process standardization, launch readiness, and capacity readiness. The role serves as a key interface between customers, executive leadership, Value Stream leaders, and functional teams, ensuring alignment between business objectives, customer commitments, product strategy, operational execution, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee a portfolio of product programs, FOK/NPI initiatives, production programs, product changes, and strategic customer projects, ensuring alignment with business strategy, financial targets, customer requirements, and Value Stream priorities.
  • Provide leadership and governance across all program phases, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, customer commitments, capacity readiness, supplier readiness, manufacturing readiness, and operational execution.
  • Establish and deploy standardized program management methodologies, tools, metrics, dashboards, escalation paths, and decision logs across the organization.
  • Champion and ensure rigorous application of APQP, phase-gate, launch readiness, and program governance processes for new products and high-impact product changes.
  • Lead enterprise-level risk assessment, mitigation planning, recovery planning, and escalation for complex, high-impact risks.
  • Ensure robust documentation, milestone traceability, decision logs, issue tracking, lessons learned, and countermeasure follow-through across all programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process simplification, best-practice sharing, and removal of execution barriers across the business.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Program Managers and cross-functional team members to build a high-performing program organization.
  • Set clear expectations for project planning, milestone management, risk management, stakeholder communication, escalation, documentation, and follow-through.
  • Ensure clear ownership, accountability, and points of contact across all functional areas and Value Stream teams.
  • Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration and resolve conflicts between functional priorities, customer commitments, resource constraints, and operational needs.
  • Communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and performance to executive leadership, ensuring timely engagement and decision-making.
  • Engage senior management and executive leadership to drive resolution of unresolved issues, resource constraints, and systemic risks.
  • Directly lead, sponsor, or coordinate strategic projects requiring cross-functional alignment, executive visibility, and disciplined execution, including Value Stream transformation, operational readiness, process standardization, customer recovery, and launch acceleration.
  • Translate strategic priorities into practical project plans with clear owners, milestones, decision points, escalation triggers, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with functional leaders to remove barriers, simplify processes, improve handoffs, and strengthen accountability across the end-to-end product and project lifecycle.
  • Support executive leadership with decision-ready updates, options, risks, tradeoffs, and recommended countermeasures for complex or time-sensitive business priorities.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point and trusted partner for customers across the program lifecycle.
  • Ensure all customer deliverables, commitments, and communications are executed with discipline, transparency, urgency, and follow-through.
  • Lead and/or oversee customer reviews, executive updates, program health reporting, launch readiness reviews, and recovery planning discussions.
  • Coordinate and participate in customer visits, executive briefings, product roadmap discussions, and program reviews.
  • Proactively manage customer expectations, recovery plans, and communication strategies during program challenges while instilling confidence in Integra's approach.
  • Own portfolio-level and program-level financial performance, including cost, margin, investment tracking, schedule adherence, launch readiness, delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue realization.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to ensure accurate forecasting, resource planning, investment prioritization, and cost control.
  • Ensure programs and strategic projects meet or exceed financial objectives while balancing quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, operational capacity, and business performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in technical, engineering, business, or related discipline preferred. 15 years of relevant leadership, program management, product development, or operational experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience leading complex product development, program management, NPI/FOK, production, launch, operational readiness, or portfolio management initiatives.
  • Experience leading Program Managers and/or matrixed cross-functional teams through complex customer, product, and operational priorities.
  • Working knowledge of the Data Center Industry, mission-critical environments, advanced manufacturing, or similar technical/industrial environments preferred.
  • Strong technical and business understanding of engineering, manufacturing, assembly processes, part flow, supplier readiness, lead times, launch risks, issue resolution, and recovery planning.
  • Self-confidence balanced with tact to challenge functional leaders to keep commitments while maintaining effective partnerships.
  • Self-driven with an acute sense of urgency and strong ownership for outcomes.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to manage difficult circumstances, competing priorities, customer concerns, and cross-functional disagreements.
  • Ability to manage customers by tactfully requiring timely information, selling recovery approaches, and minimizing customer reactions to delays by instilling confidence in Integra's proposed approach.
  • Ability to create and think through complex development and execution plans, identify gaps and risks before they create issues, and recommend practical countermeasures.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and discipline to build detailed project plans while maintaining the macro view of business impact, customer commitments, and Value Stream priorities.

  • PMP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or equivalent certification.
