About the role

We are seeking a Director, Product Operations to join our Build team. Reporting to our SVP of Product, you will lead the Operations team, partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership, and focus on evolving the organization's operations to be AI-native.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and guide the Operations team, including making a strategic hire to transform the team into an AI-native operations unit.
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to refine organizational rituals and processes that enhance collaborative efforts.
  • Work closely with GTM and G&A departments to establish and manage critical touchpoints with the Build organization.
  • Create and manage the process, playbook, and tools for developing and launching new products and enhancing existing software products.
  • Focus on evolving the organization's operations to be AI-native, rethinking processes like customer feedback capture and release management.
  • Recruit and integrate a new team member to focus on the development of AI tools, ensuring smooth backfill for the outgoing operations leader.

Requirements

Experience: 7+ years in Operations leadership, with 2+ years in a Head of role.

Cross-Functional Orchestration: Demonstrated ability to align Product Management, User Experience, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure cohesive teamwork.

Process & Operating Rhythm Design: Proven expertise in designing and managing the systems for planning, roadmapping, goals, and learning cadence, acting as both a facilitator and driver.

Strategic Ambiguity Navigation: Ability to transform broad, undefined mandates into clear, actionable strategies and initiatives, with experience in launching new programs.

Executive Communication: Skillful in simplifying complex information and motivating both teams and executives effectively.

Qualifications

Experience in AI and automation is preferred.

Pay

The base pay range is $192K - $288K, with additional compensation options available.
