Director, Product Marketing, Veeam Intelligent ResOps
About the Role
As Director, Product Marketing, you'll own product marketing for Veeam Intelligent ResOps, one of Veeam's newest and most visible offerings. Intelligent ResOps is the first offering that integrates data resilience with security as part of the Veeam DataAI Command Platform. You'll own positioning, messaging, launches, campaign strategy, and sales enablement for Intelligent ResOps, partnering with pricing, competitive intelligence, partner, and VCSP teams to set the central strategy for those motions. You'll track the metrics that connect product marketing to pipeline, win rate, and revenue, ensuring the business performs effectively. This senior role offers growth opportunities for someone who can set strategy, drive execution through influence, and engage with product, sales, and executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own positioning and messaging: Set the positioning, messaging, and narrative for Veeam Intelligent ResOps, connecting it to Veeam's data resilience, data security, and AI trust capabilities, including how Securiti AI's capabilities fit in.
- Lead launches: Own launch strategy and execution for Intelligent ResOps, driving readiness across product, sales, and marketing to ensure impactful launches.
- Set campaign strategy: Define the campaign strategy and core content for demand generation and field marketing teams, using insights to refine future efforts.
- Drive sales enablement: Create messaging, plays, and training to help sellers win, building materials that sales teams actively use.
- Own the competitive narrative: Set the competitive strategy in a fast-moving category, partnering with competitive intelligence teams to develop battle cards and objection handling.
- Shape the category: Build relationships with industry analysts to influence category definition and coverage of Veeam's positioning.
- Set pricing and packaging strategy: Partner with pricing and finance teams to establish and evolve the pricing and packaging strategy for Intelligent ResOps.
- Equip every route to market: Partner with alliance, channel, and VCSP marketing teams to position Intelligent ResOps across all routes to market.
- Bring the market insight: Feed voice of customer, win/loss insights, and market trends into product management to sharpen the roadmap.
- Track and report on business health: Monitor pipeline, win rate, and revenue, using data to drive decisions like a business owner.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in enterprise software, cybersecurity, or data resilience.
- Proven track record setting go-to-market strategy for complex, technical products at scale.
- A business-owner mindset, comfortable being measured on pipeline, win rate, and revenue impact.
- Strong public speaking, written, and verbal communication skills, including experience with executive and board-level presentations and industry analyst engagements.
- Strong analytical skills, with a history of turning market and performance data into actionable decisions.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior leaders across product, sales, and executive teams.

- Experience marketing data security, data protection, or backup and recovery solutions.
- Experience supporting go-to-market efforts following an acquisition or product integration.
- Public speaking or keynote experience at industry events or user conferences.
- Direct familiarity with the competitive landscape in data resilience and data security.

Pay
Compensation range (total target compensation, inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus): $217,300—$403,400 USD.
