Director, Product Marketing

The Director of Product Marketing will define market positioning, pricing strategy, product narratives, and go-to-market execution across a diverse therapeutic portfolio. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute therapy-specific go-to-market strategies across multiple healthcare categories, aligning launches with market readiness, competitive dynamics, regulatory considerations, and business priorities.
- Create differentiated value propositions, positioning frameworks, messaging hierarchies, and product narratives tailored to patients, providers, and strategic partners.
- Define product-level brand architecture, ensuring each product line has a clear identity while maintaining consistency with the broader brand strategy.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with product, research and development, operations, supply chain, sales, customer experience, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Build market intelligence systems using competitive research, customer insights, analytics, and AI-powered tools to guide portfolio decisions and commercial strategy.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, regulatory changes, and market shifts to identify opportunities and recommend strategic responses.
- Design pricing frameworks across direct-to-consumer, telehealth, and provider channels while balancing growth objectives, customer value, and profitability.
- Establish customer and provider insight programs to improve product experiences, messaging, and roadmap decisions.
- Develop thought leadership initiatives, educational resources, clinical content, and market-facing materials that strengthen credibility within therapeutic categories.
- Partner with campaign, brand, and digital teams to ensure marketing execution reflects accurate product positioning and strategic objectives.
- Create sales enablement resources including provider materials, competitive guides, product education tools, and channel support assets.
- Define product marketing KPIs, reporting frameworks, and performance dashboards to measure impact and guide optimization.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team while implementing scalable processes and operating models.
- Partner with executive leadership to translate company objectives into measurable product marketing strategies and business outcomes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product marketing experience, including 3+ years in a Director-level leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business/healthcare-related degree preferred.
- Direct experience within regulated healthcare environments such as specialty pharmaceuticals, compounding pharmacy, telehealth, functional medicine, or related healthcare technology sectors.
- Deep knowledge of therapeutic areas including men’s health, women’s health, weight management, dermatology, longevity, peptides, sexual health, or cognitive health.
- Demonstrated success developing product positioning, value propositions, brand architecture, and go-to-market strategies that drive measurable commercial results.
- Proven experience creating pricing strategies across multiple channels, including direct-to-consumer, provider, and partner-based models.
- Strong understanding of healthcare marketing regulations and compliance requirements, including FDA, DEA, and USP standards relevant to pharmaceutical communications.
- Experience using analytics, attribution models, predictive insights, and performance dashboards to inform marketing decisions.
- Hands-on experience with AI marketing tools, generative AI, predictive analytics, and technology-enabled marketing workflows.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
