About the role

The Director, Plant Operations oversees the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Havenwyck Hospital's facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee facility maintenance and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate projects related to facility upgrades and renovations.
  • Ensure efficient operation of all plant systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and sustainability practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and meet patient care needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in facility management or operations.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
  • Knowledge of building codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with project management software.
