About the role
The Director, Plant Operations oversees the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Havenwyck Hospital's facilities.Responsibilities
- Oversee facility maintenance and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage and coordinate projects related to facility upgrades and renovations.
- Ensure efficient operation of all plant systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and sustainability practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and meet patient care needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in facility management or operations.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
- Knowledge of building codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with project management software.
