About the role
This position leads the Planning & Performance Management (PPM) function for Danone North America’s Finance organization. The role is responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes for Danone North America.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, performance analysis, and actionable recommendations to drive profitability and growth.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee the monthly financial close process, including variance analysis and reporting to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial planning processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and IT, to ensure alignment and integration of financial processes.
- Lead a high-performing team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and development.
- Support M&A activities, including due diligence, integration, and post-merger financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, GAAP, and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience in a multinational corporation or large, complex organization with multiple business units.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is highly desirable.
