Director, Pharmacy Site Operations
Responsibilities
The Director, Pharmacy Site Operations for our Colorado fulfillment center is a critical, strategic level operations leadership role. We are pioneers in the increasingly critical pharmacy space of long-term care at home through our med synchronization and adherence packaging. This individual will be key in further driving how we are improving patient outcomes, decreasing in-patient stays and lowering the cost of healthcare.
This individual will manage the strategic and day-to-day operations including staffing, employee engagement and continuous improvement. The scope includes Pharmacists, ATP operations, filling, packaging, delivery and inventory management. This individual will also act as the Senior Site Leader for our Boulder location and ensure issues related to human resource policy, engagement and morale that affect all individuals working on-site are handled in a consistent manner, aligned with other functional leaders.
- Build and maintain highly engaged pharmacy operations team
- Consistent, fair and engaging approach to team development including Employee Development, Individual Action Plans, Corrective Action
- Achieve month over month improvement in quality performance of the pharmacy
- Achieve production cost to fill objectives, meet required level of productivity within budget
- Achieve goals for control and reduction of delivery cost per shipment
- Achieve inventory accuracy within 1% variance between our third party and our internal inventory management system values on a quarterly basis
- Achieve goals for reduction in inventory losses

- REQUIRED Education: Bachelor’s Degree in pharmacy, business or related field or PharmD
- Work Experience & Qualifications: Front line supervision of teams in excess of 25 employees; ideally experience as a manager of managers, director level; strong and sustained healthcare background and ability to provide guidance to the full spectrum of skill levels within an operation; demonstrated ability to develop, coach, counsel and issue progressive discipline; functional ability to handle dynamic situations and change in a positive manner that maintains and enhances team engagement; industry and continuous improvement experience in a high volume, precise fulfillment / distribution environment; familiarity with any of the following: warehouse inventory management, pharmacy software, insurance processing
