Director, People Ops

About the role

This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will partner with global leaders, HR centers of excellence, and functional stakeholders to create consistent practices across teams and regions. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Audit and enhance People Ops workflows for automation and efficiency
• Lead adoption of AI tools for key HR processes, establishing measurable milestones
• Implement a shift from checklist-based to data-informed and automated processes
• Manage and develop a high-performing team focused on operational efficiency
• Design and execute HR strategies to streamline the employee lifecycle
• Oversee HR initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with goals
• Enhance HR service delivery through improved response processes and metrics

Qualifications

• 12+ years in People Operations or HR Operations, with a focus on scaling processes in fast-growth settings
• Proven success in leading teams through operational transformation and modernization
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and workflow automation in HR
• Proficient people management skills in performance coaching and operational changes
• Strong familiarity with HR systems, compliance, and global employment laws
• Data-driven mindset, utilizing metrics for decision making and progress tracking
• Effective direct communication style for navigating difficult conversations

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,000 – $242,500 annually
