About the role

KPMG is seeking a Director to join our Payer Modernization Organization. This role involves developing, selling, and delivering technology-enabled healthcare strategy and transformation service offerings.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-performing teams comprised of resources across service lines including process, technology, and analytics talent
• Demonstrate strong functional knowledge of payer, provider, or PBM operations and act as a subject matter professional across transformation projects
• Support the development of new business through relationship building and project proposal efforts
• Drive team performance and quality delivery through appropriate project management, budget management, and issue resolution
• Participate in continual development and publication of thought leadership and service offerings
• Manage complex project budgets and timelines, engage and manage significant stakeholders, and understand complex regulatory issues
• Identify business opportunities, attract new business, and build lasting professional relationships with senior client executives

Requirements

• A minimum of eight years of consulting experience in the health payer industry or executive-level experience working in a health payer organization
• Demonstrated understanding of healthcare reform and key industry trends/drivers (value-based care, medical management, health payer operational efficiency, consumerism)
• Master’s degree from an accredited college/university
• Direct experience leading large transformation projects
• Excellent foundational consulting skills such as analytical, written, and verbal communication, client presence, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Willing to travel up to 80-100%
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
