Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration or related major required, Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive Patient Access experience within a hospital or multi-facility health system required.
- Minimum 7 years’ direct leadership experience in Patient Access; including oversight of Emergency Department, Main Admitting, Ambulatory Registration, Financial Clearance, Insurance Verification, Scheduling, Authorization, and Medical Necessity.

- Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures.
- Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
- Demonstrated success leading system-wide standardization, process improvement, and KPI-driven performance.
- Understanding of insurance coverage, managed care, Medicare/Medicaid, commercial payers, medical necessity, and authorization/denial workflows.
- Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.
