Responsibilities
- Develop and execute WHOOP's partnerships strategy, identifying opportunities that accelerate growth, expand distribution, strengthen brand equity, and create unique member value.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of strategic partnership opportunities across financial services, airlines, hotels, luxury memberships, and other relevant categories.
- Negotiate deal terms with potential partners across commercial, marketing/media, and product deliverables.
- Partner with Legal to redline and execute contracts.
- Write creative briefs and collaborate with the Brand team to deliver marketing assets.
- Drive cross-functional execution of partnership launches and campaigns across PR, Social, and Lifecycle Marketing.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to support integrations, in-app experiences, affiliate programs, and member acquisition initiatives.
- Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to evaluate partnership performance across acquisition, engagement, retention, revenue, and brand impact.
- Partner with Analytics and Finance to develop and optimize partnership LTV/CAC models and investment strategies.
- Work with Membership Services to define and communicate customer support requirements for partnership programs.
- Present partnership performance, strategic recommendations, and growth opportunities to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, marketing, media, or related commercial functions.
- Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and managing high-value partnerships that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience building business cases, financial models, and growth strategies.
- Experience managing executive-level stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Thrives in ambiguity and demonstrates an ownership mindset.
- Passion for health, fitness, technology, and consumer products preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Benefits
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $155,000 - $195,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.
While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
