Director, Operations

About the Role

At LifeStance Health, we strive to help individuals, families, and communities with their mental health needs. The Director of Operations serves as a key role in LifeStance’s operational team and is accountable for the day-to-day operations of a designated region, including existing platforms and newly acquired businesses, as well as analyzing and reporting regional financial performance. This role provides oversight of operational support and requires excellent presentation skills, flexibility in working on cross-functional teams, and the ability to respond rapidly to concerns driving key performance factors.

The director will examine and redefine methodology and documentation to standardize processes needed to provide high satisfaction of quality deliverables in a timely and cost-efficient framework.

Responsibilities

• Support a platform of practices and manage field employees and supported practices.
• Provide outstanding leadership for a geographically dispersed team, recruit key hires, and implement training and cross-training to strengthen service offerings.
• Develop a high level of excellence with the administrative and operations staff of supported practices.
• Drive a strong culture and environment that supports and enables all team members to be successful. Foster accountability, teamwork, and mutual trust and respect through mentoring and coaching.
• Ensure patients of supported practices are highly satisfied with their experiences.
• Monitor regional KPIs and develop action plans when needed; responsible for regional P&L outputs.
• Manage regional revenue cycle.
• Coordinate monthly meetings and ongoing training for staff.
• Troubleshoot and triage potential issues to identify root cause.
• Work collaboratively with LifeStance leadership to contribute to process improvements, tools, or resources to enhance the customer and patient experience.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of operational management within a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge and experience with clinical operations.
• Knowledge of clinical information systems such as EMR, MAR, PACS, Registration, OE, CPOE, etc.
• Ability to learn new technology while gaining proficiency in several EMR/EHRs; gain proficiency in new technologies including cloud-based systems, non-Microsoft work environments, FHIR, and APIs.
• Exceptional client engagement skills.
• Proven ability to improve business processes, methods, quality, and decision-making to achieve meaningful, measurable improvements.
• Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other aspects of culture.

Pay

$130,000 - 150,000 annually, with additional annual bonus potential and a long-term incentive program.

Schedule

Hybrid role with regular onsite presence (60%) in offices throughout Georgia.
