Director, Operations
for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections where there is real specific content. No Pay or Schedule unless present. The posting mentions benefits: comprehensive benefits package, 401k match, Gympass, time off plan. Also mentions "Benefits & Perks" section with details. So we can include Benefits section. We need to not repeat job title as heading. The job title is "Director, Operations - Chandler, AZ". We should not put that as heading. We can include a short
for metadata like location? The instruction: do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. So we can include location maybe in a paragraph. We need to preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. At the end there is EEO statement etc. We should remove that. We need sections: About the role (intro about company and role), Responsibilities (list of duties), Requirements (maybe qualifications?), Qualifications (maybe education/experience), Skills (maybe abilities), Benefits (details). We need to decide what content goes where. The posting includes: "As part of our exciting growth, we are currently searching for a Director of Operations. The Director Operations is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of the campus operations to include safety, security, reliability, network environment, customer relations, the critical environment, and P&L. This role will strategize, manage, and operate multiple Datacenter facilities for Aligned. The Director of Operations will ensure all Datacenter facility systems meet or exceed industry standards for critical maintenance resulting in 100% uptime, ensures the building engineering and security teams follow all reporting and documentation processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and meets all customer service level agreements and compliance audits. The Director of Operations will serve as the liaison for all 24x7 operational activities across their managed facilities with executives and department heads to ensure appropriate communications with all interested and vested parties. They will lead and direct the staff in their market to optimize employee potential and maximize Aligned’s continued growth in existing and new markets. This role reports to the Senior Director of Operations or their designee." That's more about role overview. Could go under About the role. Then "Duties And Responsibilities" list: many bullet-like sentences. We'll put those under Responsibilities as
- .
Then "Qualifications" section: includes Bachelor’s degree preferred with 10 years’ experience or minimum of 12-15 years of related experience in lieu of degree. Then a list of abilities. Those could go under Requirements or Qualifications. The instruction: we have both Requirements and Qualifications headings possible. We need to decide what to put where. Usually Requirements = experience/education, Qualifications = skills/abilities. But we can split: Requirements: education/experience. Qualifications: abilities/skills. Skills: maybe specific technical skills like MSOffice, AutoCAD, Visio, PDF, etc. But we can also combine.
We need to avoid thin sections. Let's create:
- About the role (intro paragraph)
- Responsibilities (list of duties)
- Requirements (education/experience)
- Qualifications (abilities: comprehend documents, project management, develop standards, respond to issues, presentations, commitment to customer service, knowledge of laws, cost estimating, RFP processes, problem solving, interpret instructions, work under pressure, organizational skills, attention to detail, openness to new ideas, MSOffice, occasional travel)
- Skills (maybe specific tools: AutoCAD, Visio, PDF, MSOffice applications Excel Outlook Word PowerPoint). But we already included those in Qualifications; maybe better to put them under Skills. However we need to avoid duplication. Let's think: The qualifications section includes many ability statements; we could treat those as Qualifications. The specific tools (AutoCAD, Visio, PDF, MSOffice) could be Skills. But the posting also mentions "Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex project documents, AutoCAD, Visio, and PDF documents." That's ability to use those tools. Could be under Skills.
We'll decide:
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred with 10 years’ experience or minimum of 12-15 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
Qualifications: list of abilities (comprehend documents, project/time manage, develop operational standards, respond to issues, presentations, commitment to customer service, knowledge of laws/codes, estimate cost, cost tracking, develop RFP processes, analyze/solve problems, interpret instructions, work under pressure, organizational skills, attention to detail, openness to new ideas).
Skills: MSOffice applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, Visio, PDF documents. Occasional travel.
Benefits: details from Benefits & Perks.
We should not include Pay or Schedule.
We need to ensure we don't include boilerplate like "Physical Demands And Work Environment" etc. That's not requested as a section; we could drop it or maybe include as a short paragraph? The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. Physical demands is not explicitly listed as boilerplate but it's not a requested section; we could drop it as it's not required to preserve? The instruction says "Preserve ALL substantive information". Physical demands could be considered substantive. However we don't have a heading for it; we could include it as a paragraph under maybe a generic section? But we only allowed specific headings. We could add a
after Benefits for physical demands. The instruction: "Use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose." It doesn't forbid other paragraphs outside headings. So we can include a paragraph for Physical Demands after Benefits. We also need to remove EEO statement etc. Let's craft HTML. Start with maybe a
for location: "Location: Chandler, AZ". Or incorporate in About the role. We'll do:
