Our mission is to deliver best-in-class data center solutions to hyperscale customers who share our commitment to sustainability, with an unwavering focus on efficiency, quality, and flexibility. Our data center solutions are tailored to our customers’ needs and delivered by our exceptional end-to-end team. Rowan is assembling a strategic portfolio of data center sites in Tier 1 markets across the United States at various stages of development.
About the role
Rowan Digital Infrastructure is seeking a senior energy leader to own natural gas strategy and delivery for our growing portfolio of data center campuses. At Rowan, we are redefining digital infrastructure with energy strategies that balance reliability, sustainability, and speed-to-market for hyperscale customers. The On-Site Generation practice owns Rowan’s gas infrastructure strategy across the full development portfolio, delivering scalable, resilient, and cost-effective fuel supply for mission-critical data center power generation.
This role will drive Rowan’s long-term energy resilience strategy by shaping innovative gas delivery solutions that enable hyperscale growth and reliability objectives. You will own executive-level strategic partnerships with natural gas utilities, pipeline operators, local gas distribution, and energy providers to negotiate firm transportation agreements, gas supply contracts, capacity reservations, and structure commercial solutions for pipeline extensions and interconnections. Additionally, you will develop and execute hedging strategies to manage commodity price risk.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in gas infrastructure development for large industrial or mission-critical loads, a strong understanding of commercial and regulatory frameworks, a track record of leading complex negotiations from origination through execution, and the ability to structure innovative commercial frameworks and partnerships to accelerate infrastructure delivery.
