About the role
The Director of Therapy (DOT) oversees rehabilitation services including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology, fostering a collaborative environment with the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality therapy services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide leadership in staff development and professional growth
- Ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Engage in conflict resolution and mediation
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Requirements
- Current and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Indiana
- Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and senior care excellence
- Previous management experience preferred
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, families, customers, and staff
Skills
- Clinical knowledge: Understanding therapeutic principles, psychosocial assessments, and interventions
- Interpersonal Communication: Empathetic engagement, clear, and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams

- Collaboration: Works with and promotes collaboration among departments, professionals, consultants, and organizations including government regulatory agencies
