About the role
The Director of Therapy and Rehabilitation is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, and clinical oversight of all inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services in a Critical Access Hospital setting. This role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, staff development, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership and operational management of rehabilitation services

- Interdisciplinary collaboration and coordination
- Leading physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and related support services
- May provide direct patient care as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field
- Current licensure to practice in Arkansas
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in rehabilitation therapy, including at least 3 years of supervisory experience
- Experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting preferred
- Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of rehabilitation therapy principles and practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance
