Director of Teacher Support - Massachusetts
About the role
The Director of Teacher Support Y1 + Y2 (DTS) is responsible for coaching Program Directors to successfully deliver the OneGoal Program. Your mission is to build expertise in the model, develop key mindsets, and activate teachers' talents to ensure each OneGoal Fellow pursues their highest postsecondary aspirations.
Responsibilities
- Provide differentiated support to Program Directors to ensure strong program delivery in service of students’ pursuit of their highest postsecondary aspirations
- Build trusting relationships with Program Directors and leverage training, observations, and 1:1 coaching to influence your portfolio of teachers
- Offer ongoing and reactive support to Program Directors to ensure they feel affirmed and supported to customize the OneGoal experience of their Fellows
- Collaborate with Program Directors to develop and implement data-based short-term and long-term strategies to meet year-end goals
- Collaborate with our internal team to develop professional learning and training for teachers based in culturally relevant practices and train them to best leverage the OneGoal curriculum in their classroom, with a particular focus on blended learning using our learning management system
- Analyze data to inform your coaching and training strategy
- Communicate progress to goal trends and insights to relevant internal stakeholders
- Review curriculum, provide feedback, and seek opportunities to modify to fit local postsecondary landscape and opportunities
- Participate in role-applicable staff development opportunities provided by the National Program Team
- Engage in cross-team collaboration to work on special projects and regional goals
Qualifications
- Lived experience of the Fellows we serve (Preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- At least two years prior teaching experience, working in direct service with young people, or within a high school setting with demonstrated results (Preferred)
- Experience coaching teachers or working alongside school administration (Preferred)
- Experience developing and/or facilitating adult learning spaces (Preferred)
- Experience with blended learning (optional); experience with Canvas or other online learning management systems (A Plus)
- Knowledge of Massachusetts education landscape (Highly Preferred)

The position requires some travel to school partners throughout Massachusetts; a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
Pay
$75,000 - $80,500 is the hiring salary range.
