Director of Surgical Services - perm

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of Surgical Services.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Oversee staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and productivity.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to enhance surgical services.
• Mentor and develop managers and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Acute Care Director of Surgical Services experience.
• Candidates with extensive OR Manager experience in a large trauma center will also be considered.
• Master's Degree preferred.

• High-volume surgical program (650-700 cases/month)

• Service lines include Trauma, Cardiovascular, Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, GYN, Urology, and Vascular Surgery

This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving patient outcomes, managing departmental performance, and leading multidisciplinary teams across surgical services.
