Engages in collaborative partnerships with physicians, peers, staff, and administration to promote interdisciplinary communication and cooperation.
Sets and enforces high standards for the quality of patient care delivered, ensuring decision-making and operational processes reflect patient/physician needs and concerns.
Holds self and others accountable for meeting objectives and commitments, adhering to standards even in the face of unforeseen circumstances.
Establishes and maintains a service excellence environment to achieve high customer satisfaction scores.
Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the team to meet the physical and emotional needs of patients.
Utilizes the nursing process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of patients.
Identifies the best methods for accomplishing long and short-term goals by creating plans and evaluating unit performance objectively.
Organizes, coordinates, and prioritizes time and resources to improve efficiency and overcome obstacles.
Analyzes problems systematically, logically, and timely, facilitating creative development of new processes and standards to ensure quality patient care and smooth unit operations.
Prepares, monitors, and manages operational and capital budgets, applying key financial concepts to decision-making.
Educates staff in performance improvement activities, coaching them for enhanced problem-solving and critical thinking.
Recruits, selects, and hires effective staff, identifying and filling gaps in unit skills and knowledge.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
- Master's [Preferred]
- 1+ healthcare leadership [Required]
- 3+ healthcare leadership [Preferred]
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]
- Certified Post-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) [Preferred]
- Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia Nurse (CAPA) [Preferred]
- Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC) [Preferred]
- Certified Registered Nurse First Assist (CRNFA) [Preferred]
Skills
- Knowledge of nursing process
