About the role
In this senior leadership role, you will lead developing the supply chain strategy and its successful implementation for a high growth business. The leader should be both strategic and tactical in leading this function for the long-term growth.
What You Will Experience In This Position
- Lead the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process: Ensuring alignment across demand, supply, finance, and commercial teams to support strategic decision-making and optimize business performance.
- Demand Planning:
- Gather and analyze data to support accurate demand forecasting.
- Drive customer satisfaction through improved service levels.
- Reduce inventory costs by aligning forecasts with actual demand.
- Enhance decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Supply Planning:
- Execute material requirements planning and production scheduling.
- Manage inventory to balance availability and cost efficiency.
- Optimize resource utilization and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Performance Reporting:
- Develop and present key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand and supply planning.
- Prepare and deliver reports to senior executives, highlighting KPIs, trends and actionable recommendations.
- Team & People Management:
- You will work in a professional, highly motivated, and passionate team of integrated supply chain professionals serving our customers around the globe.
- You will lead, mentor and develop a team of Demand Forecasting, Production Planning and Materials professionals and build strong teams that thrive in collaboration, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Materials, Business Management.
- 15+ years experience leading teams with experience in production planning and materials management in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Experience with supply chain management implementation.
- ASCM certification, preferred.
- Willingness to travel.
