Director of Specialized Lending

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Indirect Lending Operations, including the loan support team and indirect buyers, ensuring loan applications align with organizational policies and strategic goals.
• Analyze consumer loan applications and make sound credit decisions based on established lending policies and risk management standards.
• Approve, decline, or escalate loan requests in accordance with lending authority and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development to indirect lending staff to enhance performance and service excellence.
• Establish and clearly communicate loan terms and conditions to members, ensuring transparency and understanding.
• Monitor existing loans for compliance with approved terms and coordinate with collections when necessary.
• Stay informed of current trends and best practices in consumer and indirect lending.
• Participate in sales and business development initiatives to support loan growth and dealer relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve member and operational inquiries efficiently and professionally.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Performance Expectations

• Deliver prompt, accurate, and informed service to members and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all loan documentation and decisions meet compliance and accuracy standards.
• Maintain a 60-day delinquency rate at or below 1% of the loan portfolio.
• Maintain a charge-off rate of no more than 0.75% of the loan portfolio.
• Meet or exceed established loan production and growth goals.
• Resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
• Effectively supervise and coordinate dealer services buying and processing operations.
