About the role
The Director of Social Media is responsible for leading the social media strategy for YouVersion, a platform that provides Bible verses and resources for daily reading. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing, social media trends, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with YouVersion’s brand and goals
- Manage and optimize social media campaigns across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Collaborate with content creators to produce engaging and relevant posts
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to inform strategy adjustments
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends and best practices
- Work closely with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts into broader marketing initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in social media management or a similar role
- Proven track record of successful social media campaigns and engagement growth
- Strong analytical skills with experience in using tools like Google Analytics and social media analytics platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with social media advertising and budgeting
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Qualifications
