About the role

Apple Montessori Schools is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Director of School – Early Childhood Education. The ideal candidate will guide the daily operations of the school, support the professional growth of the team, and build strong, collaborative relationships with families.

Requirements

- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree required, in Education or in another field with Education-related courses. - Management experience required. - Must complete Montessori Certification within the first year of employment. - CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain. - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask in a school setting. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Computer literacy in Office Word, Excel, Outlook and web-based applications, and proficient in the use of office equipment. - Procare, Paylocity, Monday.com experience a plus.

- Experience leading a team in a school setting. - Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. - Ability to inspire and motivate teachers and staff. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Pay

Final compensation is determined based on a combination of factors, including years of experience in a similar role, relevant certifications and/or credentials, and the size and/or geographic location of the school.

Schedule

Office based, requires full range of body motion including; bending, sitting, and standing through the required hour work day. May require working under stressful conditions, and requires flexibility in response to staffing needs. Must be regularly available and willing to work at least required hours per day and weekends as requested. Perform duties onsite unless otherwise indicated and approved.
