Position Overview
The Director of Sales, Strategic Accounts is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic client relationships across Life Science Connect’s suite of platforms. This role focuses on execution excellence, account expansion, and consistent delivery of client value.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a defined portfolio of strategic accounts
- Execute account plans aligned to client business objectives
- Serve as primary day-to-day account owner
- Translate client goals into integrated marketing, media, data, and event solutions
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting discipline
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver client programs
Scope and Scale
- Account Portfolio: 6–12 strategic accounts
- Deal Complexity: Multi-product engagements across media, data, and events
- Sales Cycle: Mid-length, multi-stakeholder cycles
- Decision Authority: Owns execution; escalates strategic decisions
- Leadership Span: Cross-functional coordination without direct reports

Qualifications
- 6–9 years of proven success in B2B sales or account management preferably in the life sciences or related professional services industries.
