Director of Ryan White and HOPWA Services

Position Summary

The Director of Ryan White and HOPWA Services oversees all Ryan White HIV/AIDS program services, including clinical, social, case management, fiscal, administrative, and support services at Beaufort Jasper Hampton Comprehensive Health Services, Inc., a grant recipient of the federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the South Carolina Department of Public Health (SC DPH).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of all administrative functions of the Ryan White and HOPWA program.
  • Coordinate Ryan White efforts across all clinical and ancillary service lines.
  • Primary point of contact for State and Federal audits/site visits and participate in the preparation for program assessments.
  • Maintain necessary data tracking mechanisms for monitoring program outcomes and complete monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual reports per funding requirements.
  • Monitor all Ryan White Program expenditures in collaboration with the finance department, ensuring proper reporting processes and reconciliations with Ryan White grant program requirements.
  • Create program expenditure plans for State, Federal, and rebate funding; work with program staff to monitor program expenditures to assure compliance with requirements.
  • Aid in the preparation of all grant-related applications, including assisting with other grant proposals and developing budgets and budget narratives to support requests.
  • Lead the clinical team in providing current, best practice care for HIV/AIDS patients across the full spectrum of care, from PrEP to ongoing management of care.
  • Monitor the implementation of standard operating procedures and protocol manuals for staff, to ensure effective delivery of care services.
  • Create and/or update policies and procedures as needed.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and State and Federal regulatory agencies, representing the organization at required meetings and conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and programmatic requirements of the RWHAP Program Part C Early Intervention Services (EIS).

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health, Social Work, or Counseling required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in case management/direct services in a human services setting working with Patients Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) required.
  • At least 2 years of case management/supervisory experience in a human services setting working with PLWHA required.
  • Knowledge of HIV/AIDS disease processes required.
  • Experience managing federal or state grants required.
  • Community Health Center experience preferred.
