Director of Revenue Strategy (Hybrid)
About the Role
The Director of Revenue Strategy leads the development and execution of revenue optimization strategies for Suncadia Resort, driving total resort profitability across lodging, vacation rentals, and ancillary revenue streams. This position is responsible for pricing, forecasting, inventory management, distribution, reservations, and ancillary revenue optimization while partnering with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Ancillary departments, Property Management, and executive leadership to maximize financial performance and enhance the guest experience. This role is hybrid, requiring ~2 days a week in the office and additional time as needed for success.
Annual Salary Range
$130,000 - $145,000

Responsibilities
- Revenue Strategy:
- Develop and execute revenue strategies to maximize profitability across hotel rooms, vacation rentals, and ancillary revenue.
- Establish pricing, inventory, length-of-stay, and channel strategies based on market demand and business objectives.
- Optimize business mix across transient, group, wholesale, member, and owner segments.
- Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and demand patterns to identify revenue opportunities.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to stimulate demand, optimize seasonal performance, and increase market share.
- Forecasting & Analytics:
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and demand planning processes.
- Analyze booking pace, pickup, displacement, market conditions, and performance trends to inform decisions.
- Lead weekly revenue strategy meetings and communicate performance to executive leadership.
- Develop reporting and analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
- Distribution & Commercial Systems:
- Oversee distribution strategy across all booking channels to maximize revenue.
- Optimize revenue management systems, CRS, booking engine, channel management, and business intelligence tools.
- Partner with Marketing to improve direct booking performance and promotional effectiveness.
- Lead commercial technology initiatives and process improvements.
- Reservations & Ancillary Revenue:
- Provide strategic leadership for Reservations and Pre-Arrival Concierge teams.
- Drive booking conversion, guest experience, and operational performance.
- Develop ancillary revenue strategies across dining, golf, spa, recreation, and travel protection.
- Partner with operational leaders to identify upsell opportunities and optimize the guest journey.
- Leadership & Collaboration:
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership to align revenue strategies with resort objectives.
- Lead, develop, and mentor Revenue, Reservations, and Pre-Arrival Concierge teams.
- Champion continuous improvement through innovation and best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience leading revenue strategy in a complex resort environment, including vacation rentals.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- Strong background in the resort/hotel industry.
- Experience with revenue systems/tech: IDeaS/Hyatt PrO, Hyatt Reserve, Envision, Springer Miller, or similar.
- Previous supervisory experience, including leadership of management-level staff.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and optimizing hospitality technology systems.
