Responsibilities
- Develop and implement revenue strategies that drive occupancy, market share, RevPAR, and overall profitability.
- Analyze market trends, demand patterns, and competitive pricing to identify revenue opportunities.
- Manage pricing, inventory controls, and distribution strategies across all channels, including direct booking platforms, OTAs, GDS, and third-party providers.
- Forecast demand and establish effective selling, market mix, and oversell strategies.
- Lead daily, weekly, and monthly revenue strategy meetings.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to align revenue objectives and business development efforts.
- Generate and present revenue reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to executive leadership.
- Participate in annual budgeting, business planning, and sales and marketing plan development.
- Maintain historical data, analyze trends, and recommend strategic adjustments to maximize results.
- Monitor travel industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to ensure strong positioning.
- Support recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management efforts within the revenue function.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality industry best practices.
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel revenue management experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and data analysis.
- Experience utilizing PMS, CRS, and revenue management systems.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and collaboration abilities.
- Strategic business acumen and a revenue-first mindset.
- Ability to influence decision-making across multiple departments.
- Strong leadership presence and relationship-building skills.
